Packing List for Design for Change

What to bring to treatment:

  • ID and Insurance card
  • 2-3 Face Masks. (cloth)
  • One week’s worth of comfortable clothing (weather fluctuates between 40 (in winter) to 100 (in summer) degrees)
  • Appropriate under clothes
  • Appropriate sleepwear
  • Socks & Shoes for outside and house shoes or sandals to wear in the house
  • A light jacket for evenings (Spring & Fall) / Thick jackets for winter
  • Gym outfits & Running/Tennis Shoes (All Seasons) and Bathing suit (Summer)
  • Non-Alcoholic contained Hygiene items/Personal care kits (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving product, skin care products, deodorant, makeup, hair care products, hairdryer/iron, feminine hygiene products)
  • Any items that may help you sleep, i.e., blanket, pillow, stuffed animal
  • Cigarettes or other tobacco products to last 1-2 weeks
  • A small amount of cash for snacks ($50-100)
  • Prescriptions currently taking (in the original bottle with proper label) and regular taking OTC
  • Other medical equipment (Glucose Monitor, eyeglasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, etc.).

Items not to bring:

  • Drugs and alcohol
  • Narcotics/invalid prescriptions
  • Weapons
  • Pornography
  • The high amount of cash and any expensive items (expensive jewelry/watches/bags/coat, etc.)
  • Computer and other non-allowed electronic devices
    • We safe keep cell phones and other electronics.
