Addiction can take many forms and treatment programs must be adaptable enough to accommodate each one. In other words, people with mild or moderate addiction will not require the same level of care as someone with a severe addiction. The most frequently sought programs are outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, intensive inpatient program, and partial hospitalization programs.
At Design for Change, we provide flexible programs that can be customized to align with each client’s unique needs. While all of our different levels of care are effective in providing lasting recovery outcomes, our intensive inpatient program is exceptional.
The intensive inpatient program at Design for Change provides a full continuum of care that is a step above other programs. We seek to help clients establish a foundation for lasting recovery. Most importantly, we strive to help clients heal the psychological aspects of addiction as well the physical dependence.
Our intensive inpatient program consists of a secure, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes healing. In addition, we offer a comprehensive, evidence-based treatment curriculum that is carefully tailored to each individual. We also provide 24/7 supervision and monitoring for safety and comfort and to ensure that all of their needs are met.
Intensive inpatient treatment is also referred to as residential treatment. However, our IIP program provides specialized therapy that is not available through the residential program. IIPs are for individuals who are not medically stable, require 24-hour care, and must receive medically assisted detox.
The intensive inpatient program at Design for Change includes detox and treatment for addictions of any kind, including:
Treatment consists of an interdisciplinary approach administered by skilled addiction specialists. We believe each client deserves the highest-quality treatment available. With this in mind, we offer a range of treatment modalities that heal the mind, body, and spirit. We begin with proven therapies such as:
Our clients also engage in therapies and activities that facilitate healing, such as:
Each day in our IIP involves a combination of client-centered therapies that foster well-being and promote confidence. Clients finish their program with a higher sense of self-worth along with the motivation and skills to maintain long-term sobriety.
The length of the program varies with each client and their specific situation. At Design for Change, clients stay in treatment for 30, 60, or 90 days. Individuals with severe addictions or who are at high risk for relapse may remain in treatment for a year or more.
Experts in the field of addiction treatment agree that the longer a person remains in treatment, the more likely they are to maintain sobriety long-term.
Some of our clients utilize a combination of programs. For instance, they complete a residential program and step down to an outpatient program. As a result, the length of time in treatment is extended.
Most insurance companies provide some coverage for addiction treatment. Nevertheless, each company covers different things, and each policy has different coverage limits. Design for Change works in-network with many major insurance providers to help clients get the highest level of care possible. We accept insurance from the following insurers:
For clients whose insurance doesn’t cover all the costs of treatment, we help them obtain additional payment options. If a client does not have insurance, our treatment advisors will assist them in any way to ensure they can receive treatment.
An accredited treatment program is one that consistently meets high standards of care approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). They evaluate treatment providers annually to ensure that the standards are maintained.
Design for Change is proud to have earned the JCAHO Gold Seal of Approval, and we succeeded in meeting their required standards year after year.
At Design for Change, we believe in our client’s ability to overcome substance use. We understand that it takes a combination of determination, treatment, and ongoing support and guidance to achieve long-term recovery. With this in mind, we structure our programs to meet each client’s unique needs.
Furthermore, our skilled addiction specialists devote themselves to treating each client with respect and compassion at all times. When our clients reach the end of their program, they go forward with the tools to realize their full potential.
All in all, Design for Change provides affordable and effective programs that help clients reach their recovery goals.
In addition to our IIP, we offer different levels of care depending on the client’s circumstances:
Standard Outpatient Programs – This program is for clients who have mild or moderate addictions. Clients continue living at home and can maintain work or school obligations. Outpatient programs are best suited for people with a strong support system at home. In most cases, these clients are not at high risk for relapse and will attend therapy three or four days per week.
Intensive Outpatient Programs – Our IOP is for individuals to receive discipline and guidance without the restrictions of an inpatient program. Treatment typically lasts eight to twelve weeks with meetings held three to five days each week. When needed, the IOP can last up to three months or more.
Partial Hospitalization Programs – PHPs are required to attend counseling sessions and meetings five days per week for about four to eight hours each session. Depending on their level of addiction, clients remain in a PHP for several weeks or months, according to their progress.
Most importantly, no matter which type of program our clients require, they receive the high-quality care they expect and deserve.
Choosing the right addiction treatment program is not easy. With the number of options, locations, and types of programs available, the process can be overwhelming. If you need treatment for any kind of addiction, our treatment advisors can help you determine which program is right for you. After a confidential assessment, we help you create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
